LD 2072 - Passed and Signed by Governor
               1.  Requires owners and operators to have tanks inspected every 3yrs by a disinterested certified underground oil tank inspector
 
               2.  Directing the Dept of Environment to develop a training program for owners
               3.  Gives the Dept of Environment to prohibit delivery of oil to underground tanks that are not inspected & etc.
 
LD 1981 - An Act to Ensure Legislative Review of Fire Sprinkler Rules.  Summary, This amendment replaces the original bill to exempt certain facilities from increased fire sprinkler requirements.  It requires that rules pertaining to the fire safety of certain buildings and of mass gatherings are routine technical rules, but that those relating to fire sprinklers are major substantive rules subject to legislative review.
This was passed and signed into law.
 
LD 2009 - Resolve, regarding legislative review of portions of chapter 150: Control of missions from Outdoor Wood Boilers, a Major Substantive Rule of the Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Air Quality Control.
This was passed and signed into law.
 
LD 2257 - An Act to Establish a Uniform Building and Energy Code.  This bill will establish a Technical Building Codes and Standards Board with 11 members.  One of which will be The State Fire Marshal or a designee or a Fire Chief, recommended by the MFCA.
