Maine Fire Chiefs’ Association is providing the following white paper, developed by the Codes Committee, to address the LD 1375 Working Groups perceived regulatory barriers to housing construction. 

I would like to thank everyone on the codes committee for their hard work with the development of this paper. Everyone spend considerable time researching and reviewing this paper so that we were able to present the work group with a professional document that they can reference as they make their decisions on this bill.
